WASTE WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM

WASTE WATER TREATMENT SYSTEM

Process explanation

1 / Gathering tank 1 - G01:

Wastewater from sources 1 to 6 (highly contaminated wastewater) is collected and separated by oil separators. The collected oil will be burned.

Collection tank 2 - G02 (Sediment combination)

Wastewater from sources 7 to 9 (source with high suspended sediment concentration) is collected and separated suspended sediment through gravity deposition process.

Sludge deposited from the collection tank will be pumped regularly by submersible pump to prevent sludge drying.

3 / RT1 / 2 reactor group: Oxidation / flocculation / pH + Sedimentation

The system has 02 mixing reactors with combined sedimentation / oil separator to be designed.

The reaction time + sedimentation can vary from 30 minutes to 6 hours.

Depending on the nature and composition of waste water, the following stages may be applied alone or in combination with other stages.

4 / Air conditioner B01

Domestic wastewater and wastewater after 02 reactors will be directed into the regulating tank within 24 hours to dilute and stabilize the concentration.

The regulating tank is installed with a waste water pump to pump wastewater with a stable flow of water to a cluster of clean water in the SBR session.

5 / Batch reactor in batch SBR - B02a / b

The SBR tank is a biological sludge treatment facility, in which sequential processes of blowing air, sludge settling and decanting are carried out. Oxidized organic substances during the blowing phase. In addition, batch reactors can eliminate nitrogen and phosphorus by adjusting aerobic, anoxic, anaerobic processes in the tank by changing the oxygen supply mode.

The processing process takes place in SBR tank:

Reduction of nitrogen, BOD in anoxic conditions (anoxic) at the first stage of the filling and mixing cycle.

BOD type and N-NH4 conversion into NO3- in the next aerobic phase.

Sedimentation, separation of sludge and suspended solids during the settling phase.

Continue to reduce nitrogen in anoxic conditions due to intracellular respiration in the resting system phase (idle)

After settling down, the upper water will be removed by decanter, then flow into the intermediate tank B03. The sludge will join the new treatment cycle, the excess sludge will be pumped through the B05 sludge tank.

6 / Intermediate tank B04, pressure sand filter and Ho finishing

Wastewater after SBR tank will be directed into intermediate tank. Here the water is pumped into the pressure sand filter system to remove residual suspended sediment in the water.

Finally, water is directed to the finishing lake to stabilize the waste water. The function of finishing tank is to stabilize waste water;

Wastewater after waste treatment system, reaching QCVN 40: 2011 / BTNMT, column A.

The water after finishing the lake is reused for many different purposes.

7 / Lake incident

The problem pool is designed with a water retention time of about 1 day. This lake in combination with the tank system and the regulating tank will give the tank volume that can be kept for 3 days in case of an incident.

Lake incident is designed to be covered.

8 / Mud treatment system

Mud tank 1 - B05 - Biological mud:

Residual bio-slurry from SBR biological tank is pumped into a separate biological sludge tank.

Biological sludge in the sludge tank is stored to serve the process of bio-slurry in aerobic biological treatment tanks when necessary.

The excess sludge will be pumped to the sludge tank 2 - Physical and chemical mud to separate the water

Compressed mud tank 2 - B04 - Physical and chemical mud

Physical and chemical sludge from chemical reaction tanks will be discharged to the sludge tank. 2. Residual bio-slurry in the sludge tank is also pumped to the sludge tank 2.

Mud tank 2 is responsible for reducing the moisture content of the mud, the mud will be compressed below, and the water will follow the overflow channel itself to flow to the conditioning tank.

Mud drying yard:

The sludge from the sludge tank 2 is pumped into the sludge drying yard system to separate the water, the water after separation will be directed back to the collection tank.

Hazardous waste management: Strengthening bar and inspection to limit violations

Recently, the discovery of dozens of barrels of waste containers containing hazardous waste (HWS) has been stolen in Thang Long Boulevard for many months ... causing public opinion to rise again. The solution to Hanoi's hazardous waste management and treatment to minimize environmental pollution is not simple.

Corporate responsibility in limiting plastic waste

Corporate responsibility in limiting plastic waste

Besides the need to replicate methods to limit the use of plastic and nylon bags, another fact needs to be addressed, which is the collection and recycling of plastic waste. This work is currently being done manually. No law stipulates that businesses must recover, recycle and reuse plastic packaging from products sold by themselves. All rely on the awareness of each business in implementing its social responsibility
